The vignetting characteristic of the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM is quite similar to its Canon DSLR counterpart, and much better than the Sony FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS or Nikon Z 24-70mm f/4 S. The Canon lens suffers from the greatest amount of vignetting at 24mm and 105mm, where it is about 2.5 stops and 2.1 stops respectively.

It's noticeably lighter than the EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM ($1,149) zoom (4.2 by 3.2 inches, 1.5 pounds), but it omits the weatherproofing that you get when you buy an L series lens.
Jul 15, 2014 • Review of Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM. I am in Australia, and have been using a Canon 24-105 on several different camera bodies starting in 2009 with a Canon 50d, then a Canon 7D, and now on a Canon 5D111. I use this lens as a general walk around lens. It has had, generally, a pretty easy life over the past 5 years.

The Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 USM L IS II has a fairly typical vignetting characteristic for a full format standard zoom lens. At 24mm @ f/4, you can notice a heavy light-falloff of almost 2EV (f-stops). However, the issue is greatly reduced at f/5.6 and not a major issue beyond. The vignetting isn't as pronounced at the other tested focal lengths .
